She is a pretty EE. However, she is not a wheaten. I'm not sure what color she is.
Here is a picture of a wheaten:

I haven't tried this but I read somewhere to use a flash. Not much help - sorry. My girls are laying! I have no idea how many, but I have confirmed both splash, a blue and a wheaten. I know more than that because of the egg colors. The above picture does not represent the colors very well. The wheaten lays a small egg that is on the white side with a very light tint of blue. I get a couple of medium blues, then about three different shades of green. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to take egg pictures and get good color. I tried several backgrounds, including yellow. None were very good. Oh, and these are from several days. The most I got in one day was six, and two of those were from my EE's.
I think you'll get the best pics, with the truest color, if you take the pics outside with indirect light, not in the full sun, but in a bright area. I have seen very good pics with a white background, but I have been told that it is best to use a dark background...make sure the area is light enough that you don't need a flash, that will wash out the color.....stan

That pic looks good to me. A tad dark, but egg color isn't bad. I would put them in the green grass and take a pic on a sunny day, that tends to show the color well. I'm still waitng on the majority of my pullets to start laying. They are old enough. I'm starting to think putting a rooster with them does affect their laying. I put three wheaten/blue wheaten pullets in a pen with a blue wheaten rooster over a month ago and all three of those girls have been laying for a month now. Nice looking color on their eggs too, which was a pleasant surprise. Wasn't sure what their color was going to look like. Never know what the rooster contributes til it's over and done with. Anyway, they are laying and have been, yet, out of eight others not with a rooster only one black is laying. Two of those eight are wheaten/ blue wheaten and related to the others currently laying. None have any additional lighting either. So, its a bit strange. You would think maybe its the line is just better and starts earlier, but two related but not with the rooster haven't started. So, it's a bit of a head scratcher. My girls are laying! I have no idea how many, but I have confirmed both splash, a blue and a wheaten. I know more than that because of the egg colors.
