Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

Here is the first one, set in place. Just have to finish the shingles, some paint touch ups, and finish closing it in. I have to say - the chickens are loving these new coops, too! I went out and put them in the first night and haven't had to "tuck them in" again! From inside the pen Right side - still needs finishing wire, shingles, and paint touch ups Inside the coop When these are all done - next up are the new conditioning pens!
OOhh! I want one! No 3 or 4 should fit the bill! Lol! THOSE ARE SUPER NICE! What a nice set of pens! And the hubby happily builds?so much room inside! Lucky girl! Sigh...I can only dream!

[/IMG]Ok, here is mine. The neatest part about it is the old time saloon doors on the front porch. Like a Western theme. The inside is very cramped quarters! And I had to tuck my girls in it for 5 nights in a row! Great for my four little Old English. My bigger birds have it down pat but it took awhile

I love it! Awsome! It keeps our story going! Bonny and cluck cluck ride off on horses with chickens on board headed to the chicken saloon! I think they have had a few too many already! lol

Yes!!! I like that! Because in that blizzard the ponies couldn't find a barn so to their surprise they safely guided Bonny and cluck cluck to a chicken saloon! After their harrowing ordeal with the law who really just wanted their chickens..!!!!!....Bonny and cluck cluck stayed....and warmed up with a few drinks! The "hens" of the saloon were so gracious the ponies were tied up to the hitching posts out front and the hens generously supplied alfalfa to them for all that they, the poor ponies...had also been through. The one, well he couldn't see to well out of his right eye! So the 2 crazy women continued to evade the law ...who just wanted their prize chicks anyway..stayed at the chicken saloon evading the law...and the blizzard!

He does build happily! LOL

After all the flooding, it was clear we had to do something and he had been wanting to update "chicken row" for a while...this was his excuse to get started on it. I couldn't be happier!
