I totally agree, but the good news is that breeder quality is far superior to feed store chicks. It's all about having a proper starting point

[/IMG]Ok, here is mine. The neatest part about it is the old time saloon doors on the front porch. Like a Western theme. The inside is very cramped quarters! And I had to tuck my girls in it for 5 nights in a row! Great for my four little Old English. My bigger birds have it down pat but it took awhile

I am well aware of that. Your definitely right! but high quality stock is what I'm wanting. I will probably never show. I will be trying to breed my best birds, I would never mislead people. And may never even sell any! But I also just might! I had stated in my post above I had said that there are many many chicks that dont make the cut to the show ring. Indeed genetics are never a sure thing!

scflock, You have alot of pens! You would have a town! Brucvl, You are a wonderfuly bad influence! Now everyone wants to build an old west set! I am in! My husband would not be! If I told him I want to build more pens. He would tell me i'm crazy! Maybe I am a little! Chicken crazy!!!!

Your birds look really nice! How many do you have? are they all Ameraucanas? I have only had chickens since May of this year so I have much to learn. But I'm glad to be getting such nice quality from Max. How many did u order from him and what did u end up getting in the straight run?
I have ordered 15, 5 blacks, 5 blues, and 5 blue wheatens! And I'm very excited about getting them. I'm his first official order for 2016! So I should get them the first week in March. Hopefully the hens will be happily laying then!

That little blue thing in the top center is a sign my BFF's hubby made for me. It says Coupe De Liz! at first I told him not to dare put it up there, but he said its going up I'm building it! Now I love it.

That would se so neat! I have the saloon already:! Bonny and cluck cluck love it there! lol! then I would need to have a general store, and a blacksmith shop, though not sure how that would turn out..and a little chicken hotel ! wouldnt it be something though? If only....! But a girl can dream!
