Oh! That's the funny part! They jetted around on it at full chick speed! They act like they love it! Hopefully a win/win![]()
What a good idea! Might have to try that myself.

I use the natures bedding pelletized bedding. I think pine is good but ceder is not good! They will break down to a sawdust and eat it but it hasn't hurt any of mine. I have been using it for about three years now. I like it because it absorbs oder since I keep my chicks in the house for the first 3-4 weeks. It smells like pine! Once a week I clean it out and put in new bedding. I also put a light layer in the chicken house. It makes it much easyer to clean out. I was using straw but its hard to clean out with the manure packed in it.Bertha Butt and the Butt Sisters!![]()
What is the bright yellow chick? They are so pretty! Is that pelletized horse bedding? I've thought about trying that stuff, how do you like it?

TSC carry it?

They are adorable! My wife names ours. As far as babies we've got Alphie, HiTop, Gus, Little Bit, Patrick, Buffy, and of course Clementine and Wally. She hasn't came up with names for the rest yet.

They should carry it! I just liked the natures bedding a little better then the other kind our store carries. Just because it has a better scent! As long as it is pine not ceder you will be good!
Do you have Wheaten and Blue Wheaten? This morning their still lovin it too! I'm surprised I would have thought they wouldn't like it under their feet but just the opposite. Lol.
They're getting friendlier!Do those white bold chick feathers mean anything? I believe 5 maybe 6 of my blue wheaten chicks have the bold white black feathers. Then the other 2 wheatens feathers more match their little fur. Just wondering if the brighter colored chicks are the males. If so then I only have 2 blue wheaten pullets![]()
