Can anyone tell me if my splash is a pullet or roo. I am sure the Blue is a pullet.

I am going to say the splash is a rooster! The blue is a hen! Just a guess! Junebuggena is probably right! I am a rookie also!

Closer to 12 or closer to 15? Makes a big difference in sexing birds.

I want to say closer to 15. But could be wrong. The lady we bought them off of only said between 9-12 and that was on 3-19.
Around what age do they start to crow? Hasn't done it yet, but the difference in comb color and tail from the blue is what is throwing me.

At about 12 weeks the roosters should be starting to get the saddle feathers. Pull the feathers back at the base of the tail and check for pointy new feathers coming in!

My pen is finally built for my Ameraucana babies! I had to help my DH every step of the way...The babies love getting to be outdoors! And so do I. They are all doing great!
I want to say that with daily handling these birds are very gentle! They are calm and sweet as apple pie!
I couldn't be happier with my babies or this breed! They're only 5 to 6 weeks old and already exceed my expectations!

Here is them when I got them.

They look like they were about 8 to 10 weeks old, going by their size compared to the lattice. That would put them at about 11 to 13 weeks. Which is too young for a pullet to have a pink comb, and too young for a slower to mature cockerel to have visible male feathering.
Given the dark splashes of blue are primarily on the wing/shoulder area, it's likely you have slow to mature cockerel.

My first Ameraucanas go into lockdown today, I have 3 BBS eggs. I bought a dozen wheaten/ blue wheaten that are still cooking. They are cute chickens, hope all 3 of these hatch.
