Are they Ameraucanas? I'd really like to see the chocolate. Do you have a grown one?No Chocolates have pipped yet. I have another Lav split zipping, and 2 more labeled Lav that need to pip, 2 that are unlabeled that need to pip, and 8 choc split eggs that I am waiting for pips on.
They are Ameraucana, but I don't have grown ones yet. I got these eggs for hatching from Pip&Peeps, she has the adults, but they're still in the project stage. These eggs will be chco if female and black split to choc if male. Though there is a small chance of a choc male popping up since she said she had a choc roo fence jumper. Are they Ameraucanas? I think it was orpingtons. What breed are choc ams cross-bred with to get the chocolate?
I think it was orpingtons.
I'm so excited for them, and to see if my splash chicks are carrying the silkied genes. They're ridiculously soft as is.Sounds like a very fluffy Am outcome. Ams are so fluffy already![]()
