Thanks!

I have 21 black ameraucana eggs and 4 lav split eggs on day 7 in my bator. And i just put 8 more black Ameraucana eggs and 6 lav splits in the bator last night

So I sent my daughter and husband to pick up two female Ameraucana chicks from someone who had Ameraucanas and Light Brahmas. She assured them they were female Ameraucanas and sent them home in a box and this is what I found. One had a bad case of pasty butt too.

I'll have to go back but if I remember from our past Ameraucana chicks, they had muffs and unfeathered, dark/slate legs upon hatching.

Those are mixed breeds. And I doubt they have true Ameraucana in them at all, or Easter Egger for that matter. No muffs on those on them, and the last one looks like it's crested. And unless the person doing the vent sexing is really, really good; it's just guessing when they are that young.

They are very cute chicks but not Ameraucanas. They have feathered shank and toe.
