I guess I will head over to the EE forum..They are one of the more difficult for hatcheries to sex accurately. True Ameraucana always have a color/variety specified. If no color is specified, they are almost always going to be Easter Eggers. Nothing wrong with Easter Eggers. I personally prefer them, to the Ameraucana. Really love all the diversity, and how each one is just a bit different. It's just that they are not Ameraucana. Easter Eggers really deserve their own label and the hatcheries and feed stores really should realize that.
