I *think* she would still be considered blue, but I'd wait for another opinion on that... I like darker blues, but she almost looks charcoal??

How old exactly are they? The darker blue feathers on the lighter ones head and shoulders, plus the very pink comb just looks cockerelish to me, but could be mistaken...

These were hatched in April. I can't remember the exact date the breeder gave though. I'll try to find out.

Roughly 8-10 weeks, give or take then... I'd still lean towards cockerel... if you can, try and get a close up, front pic of the comb...

This is not a gender question. Its blue wheaten roosters and wheaten. No issues telling gende, what age is blue or wheaten obvious on cockerals?

If you can post some pictures we can tell you quickly what you have.

ok thank you. Got it from the local Farmers CO-OP as a pullet just assumed it was and really just didn't give it any thought.

You should ask Paul how many hens were in that pen. He may have had two or three hens with the rooster and only one of those hens produced that leaky rooster. Your pullet may be good to use. Best just to raise a male from her and find out.

Thank you, I will ask him. I can do a test hatch when she starts laying. I only have the one pullet from that pen. The other 4 should be good!
