Here are the seven that hatched in the incubator. There is a Lavender or two in there but I can't tell them apart.
What are your thoughts?

Here's an up close photo of a lavender/self blue. Hope it helps!

Yes, I remember now. Sorry I forgot. There is so much to learn and I've been trying to learn it all at once. Garfunkel is perfect for his olive/easter egger ladies.
Right now, though, I'd like to stick with working with the gorgeous blacks that I got from you. In the future I may decide to build another pen for more varieties, and at that time I will definitely buy my stock from you.
My first show this Fall season! A small show in eastern Alabama. Last year, I was the only one with Ameraucanas - hope there more there this year. I'm only taking 4 birds - two black pullets and two blue pullets, because hubby dearest put his foot down and said that was all I could handle three weeks after surgery! lol
I wouldn't even be going, but some good friends offered me a ride with them. Yay! Even I know a 5 hour one-way drive right now wouldn't be a smart choice. Of course, with everything going on, I'm really late in getting these poor guys settled and bathed, but it's a start.
See ya when I get back...with pictures, I hope![]()
I have a pullet that crowed. I swear she was a pullet.... But 18 weeks later I get a crow.
She has a great comb though. What do y'all think??

"She" is the second from the left, the far left is the cockerel who looks like one.
Pullets *can* crow, but it's usually rare... need a closer up pic and side shot to see anything clear...
