Saw your post on the NYD HAL, can't wait to see Hugo babies!

I KNOW!! I hope they're half as cute and sweet as he is! I'm super excited, even though I feel like such a newbie because I can't see hardly anything in my eggs. I'm really looking forward to actually being able to see if they're developing. I really want some OEs!!!
On the keel end of things (lol) I'm really hoping that my blue wheaten girl, Calliope, who I plan on breeding Hugo to, will have a nice deep keel when she matures (she's only 15 weeks atm). She's got a wonderful dark blue on her tail that I'm really excited about, and hopefully I can get a nice blue wheaten boy out of them to breed to her and any other blue wheatens I get this year. I've been dying for a splash wheaten cockerel, because I just adore their coloring, but that's gonna have to wait at least another year

But hopefully I'll finally have my blue wheaten boy; I have had TWO blue wheaten boys already...one that I had to give back to the breeder because I couldn't have cockerels at the time, and the other (my beautiful and sweet D'Artagnon) got eaten by a raccoon (THROUGH CHICKEN WIRE! His FIRST NIGHT in the big boy coop!

) I'm hoping I finally get one that gets to stay!!!

I'm totally addicted to breeding, incubating, and hatching already, and I haven't even seen my first chicks yet! Whoo!! So much fun!!

Very pretty EE's... I actually really like the dark colored one... seen many that coloring coming out of hatcheries/feed stores this year beard and muffless... still an EE though, should give you some pretty colored eggs...

Thanks for the info my EE's have always been from the throw all different colored AMs together to see what happens lol so most had the muffs and beards posted pics of the eggs when they start laying! Molly Bee!

Your eggs are so beautiful, Saris!!! I wish my girls would start laying. Cora looks SO CLOSE, and I saw her checking out the nesting boxes today (!!!!) Hopefully soon!
