As for the letter stating that the breeder was cleared, I think that shows a very responsible breeder and shipper. I am always very pleased when I get a shipped bird in with all of the paperwork showing the breeders certifications - whether it is required or not, and surprised when I don't.

I named her Boo Hoo immediately when I got her... She literally flew out of the box fussing at me the whole time running all over the run screaming God knows what at me and ran around the side of the coop still screaming at me... Then after she escaped her quaranteen, every time I'd get near her she'd run around the other side of the coop, fussing the whole time, even when she was out of sight from me. She is hilarious!

I am so in love with my Blue Wheatens, I cannot wait to get some chicks!

I love my black pullets, I love my blue pullet... I even love my splash pullet!

It's so hard to decide which eggs are going in the bator!!!

I am so tempted to have the bator going I have half a flat of pretty blue eggs and tiny little Faverolle eggs sitting there waiting to be eaten or sent out for a test hatch. I also have an unused bator sitting upstairs I cannot figure out how to get the wafter and Temp right someone help me so I can hatch lots of eggs PM me how to do it. I need an enabler

oohh and how could I have forgotten Mahonri's beautiful blue wheaten roo from pips&peeps. Yeah well that was too much for me to handle. I bought one of her roos after seeing his and had it shipped to NY. Can we say ENABLER!!!

So if you are in the holiday spirit and what to give some of your ladies beautiful eggs away, I'm sure I could find a nice warm incubator for them

Dear Santa,
Thanks to BYC I am becoming an ameraucana collector. Not the red white and blue decor, the feathered kind. Plus I'm sure the self professed ameaucana know it all (pips&peeps) will gladly tell you there's no "i" in ameraucana. This is my holiday wish list.

I have been really good and stalk my chickens at least 3 times a day. I will make you some egg nog and birds nest cookies for a snack when you come to my house. I'll leave the incubator all warmed up for you, just slip them in. Thanks so much for enabling my addiction.
