Fine don't comment on my birds, it's OK......... NOT

As addicted to chickens and the BYC forum as we are, we're not online ALL day.......just MOST the day, lol!

Thanks!

Interesting...is that in an SOP book or something? The ameraucana.org site only says "Eyes: Expressive" on their standards page (http://ameraucana.org/standard.html). Seems like somewhere alog the line I read solid black as an eye standard. LOL....I'm so confused.

SOP means Standard Of Perfection

OK...well, this doesn't work: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/39309_dscn2227.jpg

And I haven't the slightest idea why using

was appropriate.

Sorry, It's fixed now

hcammack,
I like your runs, very interesting. What keeps the varmits from digging under though? Do you close the girls in at night? Beautiful girls too!

Hey Henry - Nice set up and beautiful birds!!! I enjoy reading your posts because you so obviously enjoy them:) My blue ameraucanas and wellies from Will are mixing well with my flock and I am still so happy with them. The blue ameraucana cockeral is handsome and gets along fine with my older roo. I can't wait until the blue hen lays one of those beautiful blue eggs. They are about 25 weeks now but as it is winter I guess I will have to wait until Spring for that.
I bet you are buried in at least half a foot of snow right now! Better batten down the hatches and start digging a path out to that coop:)!!!

A few pages back I posted a couple of photos of Art and Anne, but, I think these photos are better.

Give it to me.....tell me what you all think of these birds, good or bad ...I have thick skin and value every one's opinion.
I'm kicking around the idea of showing Art if he measures up so don't hold back.

sorry he's a bit fluffed up in this photo...one of my older hens had just finished showing him who the boss really is..

How is Anne's color and lacing? (she is very leery of anyone coming in the coop and watches my every move so she's a little harder to photograph)

Thank you in advance.

Great pics, I think they look like nice birds. I need to take some new pics too. I am busy deciding who is going to show at the Northeastern Poultry Congress next month. Today I am going to look at a few wheaten and BW pullets. Hoping I come home with one or two for Mr. Magoo.
