Is that the color you are hoping for? Or did you want to create Olive Eggers?

I have seen the brown red before but I was thinking more along the lines of having the gold neck feathers and the rest black feathers and breed out of the feathered legs.

Jean is sad.... one of my young geese just dropped over dead.

Waiting for a call back from the vet, it will cost $60-$100 to ship her to WADDL.

She had peritonitis. I have to contact the vet to get more information, but she did note that she could not see where the infection came from. So basically right now a weird anomaly.​

I joined to - LAST WEEK - and I've already gotten 3 calls in teh last 2 days about hatching eggs and chicks.

How much do you guys sell your chicks/trios/hens for? Everyone who wanted "chicks" -as in day olds- only want the hens.

I just got all of my breeds seperated today so it won't be long before I can start selling them.


With my membership package I also got the egg color chart. Out of curosity, what color are your eggs? I've noticed mine are a nice gorgeous blue when they come out of the chicken and get greener the older they get.
