They're not even selling ameraucanas, they are ees.

I typed it and erased it...it irked me that they weren't even Ameraucana color specific.

I'd ask them if they've ever heard anything about copyright laws. You should "buy" the eggs and then slam them on the feedback immediately.

You could do the "Ask the seller a ?" Anytime I've done that the question and answer always show up at the bottom of the listing.

As to the ABC breeders list, I thought unless you filled out the part about what you raised and what you offered for sale, you wouldn't be listed or at least there wouldn't be any notations about what you sold. (eggs, started, adults, shipped, at shows, etc.)

When looking for our first stock, I contacted all the breeders in my surrounding states. Some by email and some by phone. I found every single one of them to be quite candid about their stock. Even when it meant they wouldn't make a sale. I also got several recommendations for who was best to contact for what I was looking for. Maybe I got lucky, but it was universal.

Outside of the ABC breeders, usually within a few minutes on the phone or 1 or 2 emails I've found it easy enough to gauge whether I'll be interested in anything the seller has.

you guys are going to love this.
I filed a second report to ebay, and wrote to the seller again... here is their answer....

Dear kat,
Thanks for your concern and soon as this auction is over I will start another with new pics. Thanks for your help.

so, no apology or explanation. only sarcasm.
its only a $3 auction for 6 mutt eggs, its not like they are getting rich off my pic.... but the lack of ethics is what bugs me.

That stinks!

So how does one go about labeling their pictures so that it can't be used by someone else very easily? Can you do that with a program like print shop?

I'm not sure exactly how, but I've seen some people put their farm names on their photos.

Heres my answer from them:

I have no Idea as to what your talking about stealing, pictures on the internet without a copy right are not protected from use. not that that is what happened, but just wanted you to be informed before you start acussing peolpe of stealing.

He's quite the little beesterd!!! I finally have him in a breeding pen, but he has come after me several times and got picked up by the neck until he let go. The last time he got ahold of me I held him down for a bit and that seems to have worked for now. My arms have bruises all up and down them from him.
