Regarding Silver Ameraucanas from John Blehm - just an FYI, his stock is quite small. He's breeding his LF up from bantam sized. I'd gotten a couple two years ago, and they were just a bit larger than bantams; not being a fan of "small," I sold them. They were lovely, just small. They did lay a very pretty egg (I sold them to member Opa [Sam] - I'm unsure if he still has them or not). John has very nice birds, and I know works hard on them!!

The hens are a decent size...equivalent to my Wheatens/Buff/Lavs and Black hens, but I did notice the males were on the smaller side. Out of all the colors, this is one I didn't bond with.
