Wow this new platform has really turned off our thread; where did everybody go

It is on all my threads.... kinda takes the fun out of it huh? I also don't find new thread very easy. Maybe because it is just slow.

I tried to work backwards to find this thread and got so many hits for "ameraucana" and "lavender ameraucana" that I'm afraid newcomers may not be able to find us. I know we will probably lose some really good experience....Harry (Shaffer) has dial up and a slow connection which probably won't support all the Javascript advertising. I'm not sure about Royce (Tailfeathers). Jean is still around. Jeanine has posted some at other places and I saw something by Illia. Hopefully everyone will come back around.

Seems like it deleted all my subscriptions. I have had to go searching for my threads and re-subscribe.
But over all I think the new site is pretty user friendly. Just like anything new takes a little while to learn where things are. I like how easy it is to upload pics...once you figure it out. lol

Every thread I ever commented in is listed, why did you have a hard time finding your threads? I don't get immediate updates unless I tell it to in certain threads. I have opted to have a Daily update instead of 40 emails a day. Which I have not gotten today.... I do really like the messages in threads... boy that is going to be helpful. Has anyone seen the advantages of GFM or PM?? My big reason for upgrading was more space for pics and emails.

HappyMt  after inspecting you solo chick, the green glass jar caught my eye and then the guinea feather and then the chicken foot jar.  What a great collection of colored glass bottles.  Not too many people collect them anymore.  Anyway i am jealous of your collection and thanks for the photograph.

We have a bunch of amber and green like the green one behind the chick....

Looks like I'll be keeping the pen going for a couple more weeks- the PO decided to "forget:" some eggs for a few days, so I have to send Buffygrl another set too.

How do you manage to forget a box that a customer paid to be shipped?!?!? Geez!

Count me in as another admirer of the chicken foot jar!

That window (north side) just has good indirect sunlight. Some things come out very true to color if its light enough outside. Good for chicks- sometimes.
As for the post office- the eggs just sat in NC for 2 days- they scanned them in, then scanned them out 2 days later. So- 4 days to travel 3 hours away, but 2 days to get to California. Go figure.
