Correct! Are your Wheaten roos clean faced? Hard to see any muffs in that picture....

Yes- they definitely have muffs and beards- I think it is just the angle and light colored feathers.

Here is another pic- maybe it shows a little better.






Anyone need a Wheaten roo? These guys are way to nice to eat! They were hatched from Chicken Junkies eggs- she states her stock is from Peachick.

I got mine from chicken junkies also.
They are only one week old. So cute.
One has toes curled into fists. I guess
Something went wrong incubating it.
I researched it and made her chick orthopedic shoes lol.

I just had to make one of those too! I have a little blue Am chick that hatched and after it dried off and started walking around I noticed that it's outer toes were curled under the foot when it walked. Kinda like folded under. So I made a little card board and masking tape shoe. He wore it for 3 days and now cured! I had thought of using duct tape but could not find it, used the masking tape instead and I am so glad I did. The masking tape was hard enough to get off...can't imagine what I would have had to do to get duct tape off!
