So we have 5 Ameracuanas that are a little more than a month old.
They are able to sort of fly, (we need to clip thier feathers) and they look alot different than they did when they were chicks.
Are they pullets yet?

Chickens are Pullets and Cockerels until they are a year old. They are hens and Roosters after a year.

female chicks are called pullets. When they are 16 weeks or so weeks old(close to point of lay) they are called started pullets.

her back looks a little rough from the rooster...

I also wanted to add that hen 2 has almost no lacing or edging to her feathers, hen 3 is a whole lot better in that department.

I meant to say hen 1, sorry. I know the Lavs a self blues.
