Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

So we have 5 Ameracuanas that are a little more than a month old.
They are able to sort of fly, (we need to clip thier feathers) and they look alot different than they did when they were chicks.
Are they pullets yet?

Chickens are Pullets and Cockerels until they are a year old. They are hens and Roosters after a year.

female chicks are called pullets. When they are 16 weeks or so weeks old(close to point of lay) they are called started pullets.

Here are a couple pictures of my hens.... would like an honest opinion of these..... as best you can anyway with these pics!

her back looks a little rough from the rooster...

this is one of my lavenders:

this is one of my pullets that I hatched out...
