Ameraucana?

My two EEs both lay pale blue. I have a friend with one who lays a mint green, and another with one who lays grayish-teal. Most EEs lay blue-green colors.

Well, . I wanted her to lay blue eggs I got her from Murray McMurray Hatchery. I specifically said my grandson wants blue eggs. I won’t care what breed she is. I just hate to be misled. She is a very sweet girl. I definitely won’t get rid of her.

She'll most likely lay blue/green. So I wouldn't get too worked up about it. She's a really pretty girl.
Plus she was probably considerably cheaper than most AMs.

Can anyone tell me if this is an actual Ameraucana? I read recently that it is rare to get an actual Ameraucana from a hatchery. I got her because my grandson wanted a chicken that lays blue eggs. He named her “Cow”. LOL!

Yes it is. they are a beautiful breed. I have 4 of them and their eggs are blue. their egg size is small- medium.

To put that into context, out of 8 of my Easter Eggers, all lay blue except one who lays green.

Any of those colors would be nice. So far, I mostly have brown eggs and a couple laying white. Not all of the pullets are laying yet.
