Can anyone tell me if this is an actual Ameraucana? I read recently that it is rare to get an actual Ameraucana from a hatchery. I got her because my grandson wanted a chicken that lays blue eggs. He named her “Cow”. LOL!

Well, 💩. I wanted her to lay blue eggs 🙄 I got her from Murray McMurray Hatchery. I specifically said my grandson wants blue eggs. I won’t care what breed she is. I just hate to be misled. She is a very sweet girl. I definitely won’t get rid of her.

Its possible she will lay blue. A lot of my Easter Eggers do.

She will still lay blue or green eggs, most likely.
