Ameraucana?

Trying to find out if she is ameraucana. If anyone could point out why she is or isn't. Plz elaborate im new! Thanks in advance!

Americana or Easter Egger, yes. Ameraucana, probably not. If I recall correctly, they don't come in silver laced. Unless she's from someone's breeding project.

Also I don't see very obvious muffs and beard.

I did get her from the feed store. She does have muffs and im not 100% what a beard looks like and have not checked for that. Feed store did say ameraucana or Americana but as I was new I did not pay attention to exactly what they said.

Muffs and beard are caused by the same gene.
If she's got one, she's got the other.

If she came from a feed store, then she is most likely an Easter Egger, sometimes called an Americana.
She is probably not a purebred Ameraucana (different spelling, is a breed recognized by the American Poultry Association.)

If a hatchery or feed store is selling actual Ameraucanas (the pure breed), they tend to have a high price, and make a big deal about the situation.

Having said that, I cannot be positive either way. She does appear to have the correct comb type (pea), and she does have the muffs/beard (maybe not as big as ideal, but definitely present), and she does have the dark feet (green or yellow would be wrong for the Ameraucana breed). I don't know Ameraucana color varieties well enough to tell for sure if her feathers are the right color/pattern for any particular variety.

She is not Laced, no matter what color or breed or mix she may be. Silver Laced would have white feathers with black around the edges, so it looks like someone laid a piece of black lace on the silver chicken. (Wyandottes, Sebrights, and Polish can all come in Silver Laced color, if you want to google for examples.)

There is a variety of Ameraucana called "Silver" (no "laced," just "Silver.") I am not familiar enough with that variety to tell if she is correct for that color or not, but I think it's at least possible. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can chime in and help sort this out.

She's a very pretty girl, and does appear silver, one of the approved colors. You can look up their approved colors on the breed club website.
