Dispersal of Ameraucanas, Easter Eggers, and two Orpingtons

Not NPIP certified, but everything has come from certifiedied flocks, no sick birds, and everything tested clean on those I've transported.

This is pick up only with a $20 minimum sale and for bio-security will meet you in Oquawka, Monmouth, and Galesburg, IL or Burlington, IA
PM me with what you want and I will bring extra [when possible] to choose from.

The Ameraucanas can be shown, are quality birds; not guaranteeing you a win though. lol

$20 per bird group includes adult Ameraucanas old enough to be covering hens or laying now or should this fall. The oldest adult Ameraucanas will be blue/blacks, silvers, and whites hatched in 2011. Price is firm. They are priced very low for quick dispersal and those not sold will go to freezer camp.
Two silver hens now laying, the cock was culled for being aggressive.. My silvers have been the youngest to lay so these hatched in March or early April should fire up this fall. The cockerels old enough to crow are included in the $20 range.
There are only 2 white hens [also laying] and a cock in adults.
The blues are showing bad sun fade, especially the cock.
Most of my Ameraucanas lay a nice colored egg, to my eye I think I've eliminated the most greenish blue layers.
Most of the blue/blacks and all of the silvers are either Jean Ribbeck bred or first generation off the birds bred by her. The whites originated elsewhere, though trace back to Jean's also, and were bred off a cross I did of a white over my best laying blue hens to get rid of the pale legs and increase egg productio. I also have two 2011 Orpingtons that are not as large as I was wanting, one lavender and one lav split Orpington hen at this price.

In the $10 @ group there will be quite a few younger silver or white Ameraucana chicks. I did not breed the blue/black this year. The $10 group group also includes EEs old enough to lay, one a 2010 hen, the others 2011 and 2012 that have been laying. There is a blue splash and a beautiful silver white EE that look like Ameraucanas.

There will be some muffed and pea combed EE cockerels and young pullets available for $5 @

Pictures will be edited in ASAP

You can spend as much as you want for hatching eggs, find day old chicks for $8 or $10 and keep the best to get you started or add to an Ameraucana program. That has already been with these birds.

A poor picture of a good white cock. It rained here for much of yesterday, he's filthy and pictured in too small of cage. He had a great tail, and if not penned with hens his muffs would be even fuller than they appear. [I've found both my silver and white hens bad about plucking male's beards and muffs.] If penned apart from the females, this June of 2011 hatched bird can be brought be back and should do well if you want to show next year.

I grabbed two 2012 silvers at random. This pullet has better colored sisters. To be frank, I've been to some large shows and have never seen a silver female that fit the SOP for color.

I had to turn them loose to get him to stand up. They are juveniles, the cockerels just old enough to start dancing for the girls. I think you will find them a bit larger than the average silver and as good as many others in the goal of matching the SOP. If you're wanting to show this fall, many of these should serve you pretty well in the silver class.
