Selling what is left of our breeding flock of Ameraucanas and their offspring.
The lady we acquired our Ameraucanas from told us that she got them from Paul Smith. They have never been allowed to interbreed with other types of chickens, these are pure-bred Ameraucanas from good lines.

Lavender (self-blue) and black, ages range from 8weeks-old to 5months-old, mostly cockerels left at this point. Most have been sold already, but this is what we have left to sell:

  • 1 black Ameraucana, hatched June 21 (unable to determine sex) $20
  • 1 lavender Ameraucana, hatched May 14 (not definite on sex, but we think she is a hen) $30
  • 3 black Ameraucanas, hatched April 14 (2 of the 3 are starting to look like cockerels) $30
  • 1 5month old cockerel, absolutely beautiful and great temperament. Keeps hens in line without being too rough on them. Raised with small children, handled daily, not in the least bit aggressive towards humans. (only bird not from Paul Smith lines; he comes from Once in a Blue Moon farm in TN) $25

Located in Woodstock Alabama. Local pickup only, will not ship but willing to meet in Birmingham or Tuscaloosa

Can't figure out how to edit my original post (perhaps It has been too long now to edit it), but update on these birds:

  • 1 lavender Ameraucana, hatched May 14 (looking more and more like a cockerel everyday, hasn't crowed yet though) $10
  • 3 black Ameraucanas, hatched April 14 (1 just started crowing, 1 we are pretty sure is a cockerel, and the 3rd is a toss-up [could very well be hen]) $10
