Ameraucoana maybe?

Quote:
First, Araucanas and Ameraucanas are 2 different breeds. I would go to the Ameraucana website to learn more about them, and see all the correct standards and colors...there's more than one correct color. http://www.ameraucana.org/index.html

Thank you i was gonna say the same thing! LOL Araucana's are rumpless to add. Any bird bought at a hatchery sold as ameraucauna/aracauna are ee's~ They are one of those 2 breeds mated with yellow legged chicken. Ameraucauna's have willow/slate leggs where ee's can be yellowish/green. EE's lay blue, green, light brown and pink eggs. In comparision ee's blue eggs are much duller then any ameraucana or aracauna. theirs are bright~
there is a sticky thread about all 3 in the breed section.Great reading
So ameraucana's and Araucana's are true breeds and ee's are MUTTS~

Just to be clear, araucanas have willow legs, yes they can be shown (although they should be rumpless and tufted, and (in the US) NOT have muffs & beards); a good bird could place quite well.
