The pic of the Prarie dog has a pretty cool story behind it. We stopped at a rest stop in Wyoming and they were everywhere. Some people went up and gave them some bread. Then we found out how tame they were. They took Granola right out of my hand! It was really fun.

Great pics.
If you have the time to devote to travel, a cross-country trip on Amtrak lets you see a lot of the country (one of my favorite places is Glacier National Park in Montana, the train goes right through there.)

I have made one cross-country drive (New Hampshire to Seattle, WA) and would like to do it again someday.

Beautiful pictures! Other than a trip to Fort Leonard Wood Missouri to see my little sister graduate from boot camp, and a trip to Reno and San Francisco I have never left the eastern seaboard. I would love to see some more of our beautiful country, I'll have to add that to my bucket list.
