American Bluefoot

The whole Label Rouge thing piqued my curiosity. Le Bresse chickens, apparently the best in the world, are blue footed and I happened across mention of "the American bluefooted chicken". Anyone know anything about them?

Someone posted something about them perhaps a month ago under a post asking about the "Label Rouge" chickens. But, I cannot remember which forum it was in or the poster's name. I personally know nothing about it, except I'm curious.

I've had Label Rouge birds in England and I was extremely pleased. In the past year, over 25% of the population in the UK ate a free range broiler at least once (compared with probably 2% here). Market forces are changing the industry on that side of the pond, and for the better in my opinion. Awesome things are going on, so we ought all keep track.
