I love this pen. The width and height are nice. Now that I am a geezer, I'd be tempted to round the sides so I could more easily walk inside. But of course it would take a lot more wire.

I built 3 pens like that. I'm building a new pen in the next week or so and still ain't 100% if it's going to be a 6ft wide 6ft deep 8ft tall or 8ft wide 8ft deep 6ft tall. Just seeing what works good for my birds

I've come close. Once I crawled into a hedge to get a puppy and came face to face with what he was barking at . . .

@OhZark Biddies whats your favorite lures? I gotta order some. Looking to try some new ones. No possum sparkles either.

I use gusto for long call ... and then it’s kinda just whatever...I try to use a little something different here an there..

I wish I kept better track of which sets catch with which lures, but I never really have

I bait some too though... venison trimmings/scraps, etc down a dirt hole ...

Yeah I never kept track either. I do know bounty hunter, violator 7, and lenons mink all call 1 and 2 will all take a lot of raccoons. Hands down my favorite for raccoons is Blackies moneymaker though.
Most mink lures work better on raccoons then they do mink. For me anyway.
I can’t remember if I caught anything on the grawes or Clint locklears lure I was using last year. I think I did. Lol

I’m pretty sure I hit them too hard with it... I can usually do better if I use way less than I want to...

There was one cat lure that seemed to be doing something on them one year, “spotted fury” maybe? ...

It was just a real clean gland smell ... I should look that up whilst thinking about it

I was thinking the same thing. My sniffer ain’t so good so I know I use way too much. It’s fine for raccoons but not so much on canines. plus the stuff ain’t exactly cheap.
