I’m gonna hafta start hoarding the old “mouse proof” popcorn tins I guess...

I also busted the handle on a cat litter bucket that had my trapping stuff in it yesterday, so I gotta find me another cat lady and get a few more of those

The only one I know of is "best choice" brand. If you even have that where you are.

If you only need the can and not the lid.. Ask your lunch lady.
I save cans for people all the time.

My wife brought me a Sams club coffee can from work, a while back

That’s not a bad idea but I doubt I’m gonna go to his school to ask the lunch lady for her cans.
I use them for a heater/hand warmer while duck hunting. I usually use regular charcoal briquettes and soak pieces of paper towel in lighter fluid in layers. Throw the lid on it and toss it in the canoe. I make a bed of wet grass on the bottom of the canoe to put it on and fire it up. Doesn’t smoke much and works great to keep hands warm. I’m not sure any brands come in an actual can anymore though.
