That’s a nice axe. That’s funny what he says about big knives. I don’t understand it but some people love giant knives. I’m guessing they don’t use em much because huge knives are nowhere near as useful as a small axe.

It is interesting about the knife. I also watch Survival Russia, I think he's a hoot - anyway, he just posted a video yesterday talking about essentials to carry and mentioned folks carrying big knives. He seems to like axes as well, he has quite a few videos of Russian axes, etc. Sort of interesting, but I watch all kinds of stuff LOL
OH! I did find that book Wranglerstar was reading from, of course you can buy it off Amazon, but it's in the google archives (?) sooo...here's a link to that. I just took a quick look, but sort of neat.

That axe/hatchet is pricey! I suppose I will just continue to use (sparingly) my cheeep CFL hatchet. I don't even remember where that thing came from. It needs a bit of a sharpening, but I use it very little so it works for me. I prefer to let the log splitter do the work for me
