You as a nobody would never know what they’re actually doing with it. They already said in the article police wouldn’t even have access to live feeds. That pretty much already acknowledges a privacy issue.I didn't say it was a good idea. .. Just that it seems like it. In a high crime area it seems like it might be worth the risk to be able to catch criminals without putting law enforcement lives at risk doing it.
I can see how it sounds like a brilliant plan.
But it probably isn't in the long run.
I would question how far it will end up going and what else they are doing without telling us. We're going to end up with some kind of big brother all seeing eye in the sky spying on everyone most likely.![]()
Once the data is in place and stored it wouldn’t take much for other agencies to get ahold of the information/video.
Better hope your neighbor isn’t doing anything illegal to be on the watch list cause they’ll have you too. Lol next thing you know you’ll be getting charged for discharging a firearm in city limits for shooting a squirrel with a BB gun.
