He's enjoying the sun too, photo is blown out, but...I like it anyway! Ira is not mad, she just happened to look that way today She's really a friendly little thing.

Beautiful birds. Your comment about the young rooster's interactions hit home since I recently introduced a young Black Australorp rooster to a flock of 12 mixed large breed hens. It has gone pretty well but he full of vigor, especially in the mornings.

Sorry to hear about the sick Kiddos, there's some kind of thing going around, I had it couple of weeks ago. No fun at all!

We'll see I've got 5 brothers I'll probably keep two maybe 3 just incase and I've got the spangled stag to look over as well. Then if all is well I'll trim em. The black stags got some growing to do.
