The rain this week has been unreal. I have to add straw to every single pen. Rained all day again today and it was like 55 degrees. Tomorrow it’s going down to 14.
Yep she’s still running around the yard.

Trust me bud I know your pain I'm sick of it myself it's rained since Sunday and not just a little. None of this weather is good for fowl it wouldn't be so bad if it would dry out or freeze but it can not decided what to do besides make a mess.

I've added straw and wood stove Ashe to them all. Next if this crap don't stop Ima try sand cause something has got to give and it sure doesn't seem like the rain is ever gonna slack up to much not to dry out worth a tar.

Hardly no grass left in the chicken yard just mud and straw it pisses me off.

It rained all day yesterday and then dropped into low teens last night. My yard looked like a frozen lake this morning. Gate frozen shut.. Vehicle doors frozen shut.. .Duck house doors frozen shut.
It sucked.

See the deal here has been rain then maybe a little snow. The weather for the next 3 days is below freezing but then back up to mid to high 40s with rain. Not to mention the wind I've been fixing fence, pens etc for the last 3 days covered in mud and chicken crap.

These drastic changes aren't good for chickens. Heck Sunday most the day was in the high 40s and wild birds chirping and crap.
