I appreciate all the help from all of ya it’s deeply appreciated. I think the grey idea is out the window because if they were worth a count there’d be a lot more breeders and more out there. I think I’m gonna try to find a good blue face and start with that.

There’s good birds of all colors out there. I kept the one grey cock I have just for giggles. He looks good and is good. The problem is his brothers weren’t anything special. I culled all of the rest and wouldn’t breed him. I have far better birds but they are blacks, leipers, black/Leiper wh/kelso etc

What is the hen you have? Are you planning on breeding whatever rooster you get to her?

She’s a kelso cross. I’d like to breed her I have another hen at my wife’s grandparents that’s a black cross that has some biddys but there god knows what so we’re gonna cull them for meat birds when there of age.
