American Gamefowl

Sounds good that should work good. Just trying to give ya some pointers before ya lose a bird that is hard or you can't not replace and I know we goof off a lot on here but no one wants to see that happen and majority of the time we've been there and done that.
Think this will work?

The pen distance doesn’t make much difference when they’re empty. The biggest thing I would worry about is being at the base of that incline. Those pens will be full of mud year round. I have some wooden pens in a section of my yard that is slightly lower lying than the rest believe me when I tell you it’s a nightmare trying to keep them birds feet dry.

I’m gonna put a French style drain around the back side of them to catch the water and run it into the ditch in front of them

If I were you and you have somewhere else to put them I would. You’ll save yourself a headache. Everyone’s yard is different but I have soft ground and I have birds that are part mole that will dig out if given the chance. Numerous times I’ve had a hen escape and start wailing on another pen wanting at the rooster inside. Just remember doing things right from the get go will save you the aggravation later.

My yard is nothing but rock there’s gravel on it to there used to be a house here so 2’ down from where I leveled it is concrete foundation. With gravel on top

I do have another place I could put them but it’s nothing but a swamp and it’s to close to the road people are straight thrived here so not only would I have to worry about pure mud but somebody having there self a field day with birds but then again I’ve thought about putting the domes up on pallets and making it a solid wood floor.
