Anybody ever tried mixing an asil rooster with american game hens?

Gamefowl are a mixed bunch of mutts as is really. Me personally I wouldn't got out of my way and buy asil and breed it into anything I have as what others lack I have others that don't and vise versa (plus the majority of asil are sinful to look at).
My DMM has a 16th rampuri that I know is in there and a little hatch. I'm pretty sure everything here on my yard has a little oriental in them and oriental is a long list of birds, names and country's same as American gamefowl.
It really boils down to what you are after and who you get them from even then it's not a for sure bet they'll be worth feeding, I just can't get past the horror stories and they are fugly to say the least... no need to mess up what is perfectly fine in my opinion one just needs to cull/watch harder. What you are looking for is most likely in them already or a cross away from what's on your yard.

Yeah I agree with the ugly part don’t think I could handle one on my yard look to much like a rubber chicken to me lol there’s nothing pure now days everything has been crossed up at some point or another just all depends on what your wanting find a cock and a hen you like both traits and go from there most crosses out there have been proven but you can always spice them in certain ways I’m sure I just try to go with what I like about each side and go from there . I’m no expert I’m still learning and have a long ways to go but the others on here know there shit I’ve learned a lot just on this group and continue to learn daily.
