Yes, I use 3 metal trash cans to hold feed and scratch. Keeps the feed dry and safe, most of the time... until some raccoon figures out how to open them.

I was gonna do that but I figured I was already using plastic trash cans in the shed to hold my feed with no issues.

I use coolers gots me 3 of them bad boys. One in house for stored adult feed, two out on porch one is for adult feed and one for chick feed. I'm Blending regular feed here and there for the chicks already anyhow after this is gone their getting switched, plenty of good stuff out here for them to scratch/chase for.

Oh an the black just whipped my Billy's rear he seriously ran and she chased lol. Everytime she does this to one I don't have my phone on me it's funny as all get out. She was on him like stink on crap.

Reminds me of when I got a red T-shirt in with all my socks and tidy whiteys when I was a bachelor fella... I wore the pink socks... but I had to go buy new shorts... I just wasn’t wearing pink undies

I guess you don’t have to worry about trap theft?

I wouldn’t set that pretty trap on public land. I’ve only had one trap stolen. It was a Belisle 280 with an otter in it.

I had a few traps filched when setting on private ground along a river... I’d marked them with orange flagging in a tree above them in case the river got up... and they were gone when I ran that line the next day.
