American Gamefowl

Drive the rebar about a inch or two off two opposite corners and tie the rebar tie near bottom of the pen and near top on both anchor points. Maybe this helps
Ahh I was thinking just straight cut off rebar on each end without the hook. That would be a hassle to undo on pens without doors I think.

Thats a tie not a piece of rebar. I will just get pics when I get mine done lol
Nah I get what you’re saying I was multitasking when I looked at the photo. I’m not sure twisting and untwisting it would any faster then unscrewing a stake though. My main issue is wanting it to hold tight while still being fast to get a bird out. While that would be plenty secure that would take forever to undo as often as I do and the ties would become brittle twisting and untwisting over and over.

I always thought cable earth anchors wouldn’t be a bad idea. You could get crazy with attachment ideas to hook a clasp on the the frame of the pens so you could move birds easy enough. It could get pricey though their like $15-20 a dozen.
I’ve thought of that too since I have plenty of earth anchors for trapping. Again that’s way slower to undo than a simple screw. If you have doors on em and wanted them permanent that’s an option. Side note: they work great for holding down chain link fencing using an S hook to attach the anchor to the fencing.
