American Gamefowl

I don’t think so, personally never had any but I believe they just had the name game in them. I know that they lack the characteristics of game chickens, but I don’t know if they are like OEGB or not honestly.
Ok thanks. I've witnessed my cockerels act very gamelike towards each other at puberty, but I wasn't sure if that was a legit thing or just those particular ones being childish

If you’re not having to separate them, then I think it’s just them sparring due to the hormones. As long as you don’t have dunghills, once the game stags hit puberty they have to be separated if you want to keep them alive

I had to, since I was worried they'd kill each other. Usually my males don't do fights so much as playing "chicken".

What are dunghills though?

It’s a game rooster that runs, one that should be culled. How serious were they? I think if they had gameness in them, it’s bred out by now but honestly I don’t know.

The butcher grabbed his comb? I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen to me honestly. I’ve had stags cut the back of their feet trying to pen fight with cocks when they came to that age but grabbing the comb is one I haven’t personally experienced

Yea the usual cut at the cages and beat their feet and toes and wings up. this however was pretty bad i couldn't believe it

More snow and still going.

Again honestly not sure how serious. They were both jumping at each other and trying to grab whatever they could. Usually mine squabble for like a minute before one at least tries to run but these guys were wearing each other out and making each other bloodied before I had to step in. I was using them for my last year of fair so I didn't want to risk them doing permanent damage, but it didn't look like they were going to stop soon at all.

Maybe my batch was just a bit glitchy though too. I know other breeds sometimes have individual roosters that won't stop fighting.
