Yeah that’s one aswell the real humdinger to me is they are “Made” to fight. Negative I can take the blacks from havoc the mugs from del Mac and the cubans from Sanchez and the various crosses and put them on a nice big patch of land spread out and I wouldn’t give it an hour before the battle royal started and they all died from trying or injury.

Same can be said for certain hens aswell, but such people confuse hearsay for facts when it’s absolute bs and just regurgitate it so they feel important or dare I say smart.

That one gets me too, all it would take is either seeing them or hearing the crows and it would be a full mess by the time you could get back there. I’ve got a one eyed hen on my yard because I wasn’t paying attention one day and her and another pullet tied one on

I think the main reason they spread it is to make us look like some kind of cruel people for “forcing them” to fight. All so they feel better while they cram half brain dead birds into a building and let diseases/raccoons/foxes/possums kill them off and instead of doing anything they say “but they’re my favorite”

Yep. Its in every cocks nature to fight over breeding and territory. Gamefowl just happen to do it better then the others. I eat the eggs from them just like I do my RIR and truth be told my 6 year old RIR rooster is more of a bully then a 2 year old marsh butcher. People should stay away from talking about COCKERS. They don't know how much time. Money and effort we put into raising show birds.
