Yep. Its in every cocks nature to fight over breeding and territory. Gamefowl just happen to do it better then the others. I eat the eggs from them just like I do my RIR and truth be told my 6 year old RIR rooster is more of a bully then a 2 year old marsh butcher.

A couple years ago I had a psychotic ameraucana we called bad boy killed my last sweater hatch before I got out of gamebirds. He got my youngest son in the back of the head couple days later and I ended his career.

That’s pretty bad. I had some issues with Rubles a few years ago. Some were ok and some not so much. That’s why names mean absolutely nothing anymore unless you are getting them from where the name originates which is just about impossible nowadays especially when they originally got the name in the early 1900’s.
