Some more in the oven. By far the best incubator I’ve ever used 100% on the last 2 hatches View attachment 3072490
That's what I have. If your gonna use an incubator I think it's a pretty decent one.
I have two units just like it. One must have buttons pushed to turn eggs. My 10-year old son runs both on his desk and operates one in his.classroom
I'm sure you have but have you tried master resetting it?
A time or two I realized mine wasn't turning on it's own and it was because I had forgot to do that.

I am not too hopeful on the eggs in lock down… I am hoping to get 1 RIR chick out of the eggs. RIW are not ready for lock down I am less hopeful on them… their incubator has been hard to regulate. Sigh mail order eggs can be so hard to get hatches from. It is not looking good when I candle

I’ve got signs of life!

This is the RIR I thought might hatch… the other dark ones I think won’t but I will wait and see.

Also it is lockdown day for the dodgy RIW eggs… their incubator has been hard to keep humidity up… so I moved them all over to this incubator very quickly (except one egg stuck in the cradle, I candled it stuck in there it has a hairline crack)… this incubator works great at keeping everything regulated and way easier to fill with water.

I think out of the whites maybe 2 might hatch... 1 for sure.

I know silly utility breeds, but I have never seen Rose Combed varieties of either of these breeds and that is what I am trying to hatch out. Plus the RIRs are suppose to be proper RIRs not production lines and the whites from a “heritage” breeder… so I am hoping for better feather quality, colour, and body shape than big hatchery production chicks I am also raising.

Been a hard past two days here yesterday had a brood cock get out and go mayhem on half the birds. Today some crackheads were “walking” their dogs down the road and they thought my birds that were on cords were chew toys ran right through the fence. Pulled all the tail feathers out of my hatch rooster and tore the legs up on two sweaters. Of course all three were the ones going to the gba show this week. I had a little talk with said crack heads and don’t figure I’ll be seeing the mutts again. Pretty sure I made myself clear on what the law states here. Hopefully everybody else had a good weekend.
