Training roosters ha it's more like the human needs training more so than the roosters. I read a thread on here not long ago with some terrible rooster advice. I wanted to reply but i figured we're running thin on gamefowl folk here as is.
I give up on them. Most people are too afraid of them and have entirely screwy setups then wonder why they have problems with a rooster. I don’t remember who it was but someone said the first 30 roosters they raised were all mean. Really? Maybe that’s a clue you’re doing something wrong? If more people would walk their chickens on leashes at the local park things would be better.

Yeah this one was about showing a roosters who's boss by physical contact I'm thinking the one man fighter I've had if a regular joe blow or Jane doe tries that an missed you'd be in some hurt lol.

Hahaha I seen one about verbal leashes bro get it right.

That one black I had a few years ago put a hurtin on me before I could kill him. Lol. I would have paid good money to see some of these clowns with their methods.
Everyone has a different expectation of what a rooster should be. That’s where the issues start. Some really shouldn’t own roosters at all.

A nice shuffle to the face wouldn't be to dang good. I agree a lot of the folks just don't need roosters period of any kind and gamefowl is not so different it's that we do things a lot more different more or less we have a lot better outcome.

He sure was one of the best looking roosters I've ever seen though glad I've got some of his blood in peacemaker.

He was a good looking bird but man he didn’t want anyone within 3 ft of his pen. He’d jimmy fly snooka ya right off the roost swinging in the dark. Crazy bird. I almost got it in the head once. He grabbed the vein in my forearm that day and I promptly shot him in the head.
