Well at least you know what roses is that's all that counts. It seems they've pretty much faded out with all these big stores but ours is still kicking made school shopping for the kids super easy while everyone else was out elbow to ass at Wally World and the like we were smooth sailing at roses.

Looking good rock growing nicely.

One of our Roses was very large and even had a cafeteria! Sky City had a cafeteria too. Eckerd drugs had a soda and lunch counter LOL
 
Roses used to keep all kinda of outdoor stuff when I was a kid tons of fishing stuff even sold sks's and other guns now they don't do that and the fishing stuff is slim, but for the kids school supply's or other odds an ends I don't mind going to roses it's close to southern states aswell. I guess you could say it's similar to a larger more reasonable dollar general and lawn an garden stuff which since Walmart we have about 44 of them now lol and ain't nothing a damn dollar either.
 
:lol: Oh we have lots of Dollar Generals, I have 2 that are about 3miles from me in opposite directions, I'm in the middle LOL I shop both (of course!) Cheaper on lots of things and I don't like to go to WalMart unless I have to.
If I can have it delivered (GO Amazon) for the same price, then that's my plan:D

Yes, Roses used to be the place to go. I bought a .22 Rifle there 27 years ago!

Whoa fancy we didn't get that I guess ours is still kicking for a reason but at certain times theirs some bible thumpers there, I believe they are ken to havoc but I have no proof. I have no issues with believing in the lord I'm obviously no saint myself but preaching to folks in front of any store or better yet pushing isn't the way to go in my opinion it'll turn folks off of anything real quick like.
