I need something that ain't going to hurt the kids chickens or dogs. And the first place a poisoned animal goes is water to clean it's self out and that want me good. Any ideas?

Not without the potential to hurt the chickens. Just set #1 footholds and then put a milk crate over em when you leave for work in the morning.

That’s the size you obviously don’t need a dozen. Might be able to find a few somewhere close at a feed or hardware store.

Set them around the walls. You can bait the pan with peanut butter and bird seed or something similar.

Nope. .but I figured.
I made one of these once but I never did catch anything. . . the dogs kept licking the peanut butter off the can.
