Mine are almost done to. Minus 1, she molted hard this year and lost 85% of her feathers. She's about half way done

For religious reasons I need a Rabbi to slaughter them, but I will hold them until the end and do the plucking etc myself.

It’s more than that. It’s complicated. Have to salt the carcass to get out as much blood as possible.
