American Gamefowl

I wish I knew then, what I know now about BYCs predator expert crowd, I’d a had more fun with that waxed trap fella...

I was still new here and giving folks the benefit of the doubt...

At this point they've worn me out though ... I feel like the Boss in that song you noped this morning

“... I ain't fighting tell her I give up
Tell her she wins if she'll just shut up

I don’t think they’re gonna shut up anytime soon though ;)
Oh man it’s bad. I tried for awhile then just lost interest. Throw in the experts and then Ranger Smith and it was more than I could bear. :gig

I’d feel bad for the birds, but at this point I’d be fully rooting for the chicken eaters on every one of those threads, if I were still reading them

Those articles suck. Clearly it’s a
Namdapha flying squirrel. So much misinformation.

Just googled that squirrel and this came up

that’s the c130 of flying squirrels, I never knew there was any that big

Lol I know they’re massive! Funny I have seen quite a few regular flying squirrels. Saw one opening morning of duck season with my son. I thought it was raccoon then I realized it was a squirrel with my headlamp then realized it’s still dark as it jumped to a nearby tree. They’re pretty cool animals.

I have them in the yard... in the late summer I can sit on the porch and watch them glide from one tree to another in the yard light...

They have an interesting thing they do... when they land on the lighted side of the tree they immediately scurry to the shadowed side, which makes it hard to get a good look at them ...

I know they’re there by their calls more than seeing them most of the time
