Lol... looks like I’m not the only one that gets his feeling s hurt and wants to scorch the earth when a critter gets a bird.

Well I reckon if that happened I'd cry difference is I'd do something about it shortly after as I have no issue killing what needs killing. But in my life time up here I've seen a handful like we've talked in the past.

In 10 yrs I’ve never had a gray fox mess with chickens until this past winter when that one tried to snatch a bird off a cord. It will happen eventually. Fox, coyote or bobcat. Count on it or don’t and plan on replacing them.

One of MY chickens is ... even though they are hatchery grade goofball birds...

Somebody else can have show quality stock gifted from the Queen of England.. and critters can get em all... and I think ... meh, it happens... lol
