I’m probably leaving some out without looking it up.

Striped bass are called rockfish by a bunch of people too. Lol
I actually have heard the term goggle eye before and ironic as it is from a guy in the Army that was......drumroll......from Misoorah.

Sidenote: Indiana has some excellent trappers.

I thought goggle eye was a more wide spread term than just the show-me-state... but ...

We caught one in eagle lake or one of the surrounding portage lakes in Ontario one time ... that surprised us... we called it a rock bass up there though ... we didn’t want to get deported

Indiana has some fine folks all around... we just get their rejects here sometimes

Yeah it’s not the “secret” it used to be...

... I went up there annually for several years but haven’t been in a good 12+ now I guess ... kinda miss it...

I get invited to go every year by a friend that still goes... but always seem to have too much going on these days...

If you ever go let me know.... I have a map with some good spots marked... if I can find it...
