How do you know? You don’t have any game chickens.

I have one American Gamefowl hen.

She came from a farm I worked at last year. She came with some cockerels that had to be caged separately because they were constantly fighting.

You can not rate gameness on agression only when it comes to hens that's just silly a layer can be aggressive. Males on the other hand obviously they shouldn't be able to stay together and to me should show at the very least by 8-9 months maximum meaning they have to be penned or will die trying their luck, but anything past that is no good for what I am looking for in my opinion.

As I said different strokes for different folks I be never claimed to be a smart man but it helps to pay attention to the hens.

When you start trapping again would you be willing to show me how you do it and how you skin the predators you catch?

Yep. I don’t mind. Trapping season opens Nov 15th. Can’t trap mink til Dec 1st where I’m at though. Fur isn’t prime til then anyway. The best month to trap here is December. Everything should have good fur.
One exception: you’re killing everything that isn’t already dead.
